When I wrote and recorded this song, I wanted to capture the essence of those summer nights that we never want to end...filled with fireflies, and popcorn, and late night laughter when kids tear around the yard and adults share memories. I think the phrase "remember the time" must have been born on a summer night!
Aren't we always waiting on summer vacation? I wanted to put into music and video the symptoms of that yearning in a fun way!
I've made several videos of this song "Missing You." Maybe it's because life can deal with us so harshly when time runs out, the last day comes, the tears run dry, and our heart sags from the weight of loss.
